Radical Jewish Traveler heads to Belarus

I’ve traveled around the world on my own and have taken students and others to Galicia, Israel/Palestine, Spain, and New York.  This will be my first time with students in Belarus as we explore “historic Lithuania” with the amazing Helix Program, a project of Yiddishkayt.  The organization’s director, Rob Adler-Peckerar, a former colleague and longtime friend, put the entire program together, and for the first time, the students, staff, and scholars will be joined by a group of culture makers.  Together, we will be exploring the Yiddish heartland to create new forms of culture for the 21st century.  The Radical Jewish Traveler will be updating his blog regularly.  So stay tuned, and if you have requests, don’t be shy to make them.
